Mr. Chambers is the principal research mechanic for the FEERC group. Mr. Chambers has been on staff at ORNL since 1990 where he was a member of the former Instrumentation and Controls Division and joined the FEERC group in 2001. Mr. Chambers has expertise in internal-combustion engines and performs the hands-on setup of the engines in each test cell. He assists with the design, direction and supervision of engine test cell buildups and initial startups. Mr. Chambers has hands-on experience with engine testing, instrumentation, emissions measurement, and the engine test cells data-acquisition systems associated with each individual test cell.
