Mr. Domingo is a Senior Research and Development Staff Member and has been with ORNL since 1977. He has extensive background in fuels, combustion, energy conversion and power generation system technology. He has been principal investigator and co-investigator of several projects on engine emissions and advanced aftertreatment technologies including NOx adsorbers, lean-NOx catalysts, urea SCR, and diesel particulate filters. Mr. Domingo is also involved in other projects including variable compression ratio engine development and ceramic valve engine evaluation. He leads and oversees all of the facility improvements and hardware installations for Fuels, Engines, and Emissions Research Center.
Expertise in internal-combustion engines, gas turbines and test cell facility design.
Supervise and direct engine test facility buildups, upgrades, start ups.
Hands-on experience on engine testing, instrumentation, emissions measurement and data-acquisition systems.
Past member of the lean-burn NOx catalyst and NOx adsorber technical committee for the DECSE Program.
Member of Society of Automotive Engineers. Activities within SAE included session organizer and chairperson, reviewer of technical papers.
