Working since 1990 in various combustion-related fields including pulsed combustion, internal-combustion engines and combustion of metalic solids.

Over a dozen publications related to combustion and application of nonlinear control to combustion systems.

Current research areas include development of a nonlinear controller for a port-injected, natural-gas powered engine and low-temperature combustion in a diesel engine.
