Expertise includes catalyst material and process development, engine evaluation of emission control systems, and applied spectroscopy techniques for gas and surface analysis.
Current research interests include NOx adsorber catalysis for lean-burn engines, spectroscopic remote sensing for analysis of mobile emissions and air quality, and novel applications of nanophase materials.
Numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals.
Member of the American Physical Society, the Society of Automotive Engineers, and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
