Scott joined the research and development staff of the Oak Ridge National Laboratory in 2012, following a post-graduate fellowship through ORAU. Scott is currently involved in research with advanced combustion techniques on multi-cylinder engines including the effects of alternative fuels on advanced combustion as well as emissions challenges. He is also involved in sustainability analysis for mobile and stationary sources. Scott collaborates closely with the regional DOE Clean Cities program on outreach and education activities with alternative fuels and advanced vehicle technologies. Scott is a current member, active author and technical session organizer for SAE International and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).
