Brian joined the research and development staff at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in 2012 after having worked at the lab as a postdoc since 2008.  His current research includes projects related to the characterization and control of cyclic combustion instabilities, second-law thermodynamic analysis of engine efficiency, and dilute natural gas combustion. He has also been involved in research related to optical spray diagnostics and imaging. Brian is a member of ASME and SAE.
